One sunny morning, little Lily peeked through the fence behind her house. She saw a dusty path she had never noticed before. With her teddy bear in hand, she decided to follow it.
The path led to a tiny, old gate covered in vines. Lily pushed it open gently. Inside, the air smelled like honey and rainbows. Colorful flowers swayed as if waving at her.
"Hello, little one!" whispered a tall sunflower with a golden face. Lily gasped. "Did you just talk?" she asked. The sunflower nodded, and a lavender rose giggled nearby.
The flowers introduced themselves: Daisy the friendly one, Tulip the dancer, and Rose the singer. They told Lily the garden's magic came from kindness and sunlight. Lily clapped her hands with joy.
Suddenly, a dark cloud covered the sun. The flowers drooped. "We need sunshine to keep talking!" cried Daisy. Lily remembered her shiny, yellow balloon. She held it up high to catch the sun's light.
The balloon glowed like a little sun. The flowers lifted their heads and burst into brighter colors. They sang a thank-you song while Lily twirled around, giggling.
As the real sun returned, the garden sparkled even more. The flowers promised Lily they would always be her friends. She hugged them gently, promising to visit again.
Lily walked home with a flower seed in her pocket. That night, she dreamed of the magic garden. And every day after, she looked for wonder in her own backyard.
